Project Basket Ball?
Yes! This is a project about building a Basket Ball Court in Mainpat Settlement.
Doesn't Mainpat has a Basket Ball Court?
No it doesn't -- that's disappointing right?
But it is true. But Mainpat is very beautiful place and a basket ball court will make it more
beautiful.
Ok... need to know some more about this project. Tell us...
Sure! I took the initiative to take up this project. I dared to think about it while I was in the settlement during His Holiness' birthday celebration this year and suddenly this thing came in my mind. Our youngsters there enjoy playing Volley ball and cricket but they are not blessed with this most amazing game Basket Ball.
So, this thought suddenly popped in my mind and right away I started making the plans.
I thought somebody has to take the first step. So, here I am.
I talked to a few concerned people and some friends. The responses were amazing. Another push for me to move ahead with the project.
Enough enough....now tell us what are the plans?
I have some big plans ahead. But for now... it is just a Basket Ball Court. A nice basket ball court right afterthe first few months after coming Losar.

So, friends... start donating now. We need a big amount for that. Somewhere around 7000 US Dollars (around 3 lakh Indian rupees).

Damn! 7,000 US Dollars or more? Do you think it is going to be possible?
I know.... It is tough but if we start counting how many people from Mainpat live in the western countries than you might find it possible to raise this amount.
Please don't take it wrong. I don't mean that people living in the west earn dollars, pounds, euros, Swiss Francs and thus have lot of money to spare on. Obviously earning money is the toughest thing no matter where you live -- but the fact is that your few penny might make a big difference here.
Just for this noble effort, try to skip some coffees and save the money for the project. You guys are our target.
Please let your parents know that we need their help to build this Basket Ball Court.
